The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga was one of our favourite machines from last year because it was the ideal mix of technology, looks and form factor. This year the model is receiving a modest boost as part of its third-generation refresh which could arguably turn it into the best laptop ever. The ThinkPad X1 Yoga will retain its same 14-inch laptop size, 360-degree hinge and integrated stylus. The chip however, will be upgraded to an Intel 8th generation Core processor. There will also be a number of other smaller modifications which we will get to later.

This year’s Zero 1 award in this category went to Lenovo’s IdeaPad 720s. This is a 13-inch laptop that looks wonderfully sleek and comes with a fingerprint scanner and enhanced touchpad.
